A turnkey lifestyle, gifting and home retail format — with the supply chain, the technology and the store design already proven.
Urbanox is a curated lifestyle retail format: home & kitchen, gifting, stationery, bags, drinkware, toys and games, decor and imported novelty — around 1,400 live SKUs at sharp, fixed prices, refreshed continuously from our own warehouse.
The proposition is in the name. Product that looks and feels premium, at prices that make people buy three things instead of one — a high-footfall, high-frequency format built on small baskets and repeat visits, not a slow-moving one.
You buy nothing on your own judgement. Every SKU is bought, tested and priced centrally, then shipped to you. Fast movers get replenished; dead stock gets pulled.
Our own ERP runs your billing, stock, purchase, staff attendance and daily stock check — on Android and web. Plus a customer app, a storefront and WhatsApp bill delivery.
Layout, furniture drawings, racking, lighting, signage and planogram are designed by us and executed to the same standard as Jorhat. You do not hire a designer.
Urbanox Jorhat opened to the public on 19 August 2026. The assortment, the pricing, the store design, the billing system and the launch playbook were all built and tested there before this franchise was offered to anyone.
Roughly 1,400 live SKUs across eight categories, a fixed-price architecture, a planogram and a kids’ play area — all settled in a real shop, not on paper.
Our own warehouse buys, prices and ships the entire assortment, and replenishes against live sales data from your billing system.
The Jorhat opening campaign reached over two lakh people across Instagram, Facebook, Google and WhatsApp. The same team runs your opening.
The shop fully built, fully stocked and trading — furniture, lighting, air-conditioning, power backup, branding, technology, the play area and the opening stock, all included.
The rate is not flat per square foot. Signage, billing systems, the inverter, the play area and the launch campaign cost the same whether your shop is 1,000 or 1,500 sq ft, so the bigger store pays a lower rate per square foot. That saving is yours, not ours.

Two illustrative scenarios at conservative daily sales. They are worked examples of how the format behaves at a given level of trade — not a forecast of your store, and not drawn from the results of any particular shop.
| Per month | Conservative | Base case |
|---|---|---|
| Sales per day | ₹30,000 | ₹45,000 |
| Monthly sales | ₹9,00,000 | ₹13,50,000 |
| Gross profit at about 27% | ₹2,43,000 | ₹3,64,500 |
| Rent, staff, power and running costs | −₹1,41,000 | −₹1,41,000 |
| Net profit per month | ₹1,02,000 | ₹2,23,500 |
| Net profit per year | ₹12,24,000 | ₹26,82,000 |
| Payback on ₹40 lakh | ~39 months | ~18 months |
Gross margin is taken at about 27% of retail, which is the margin structure the franchise rate card is built on. Rent varies most by town — at ₹25 per sq ft the net improves by ₹22,500 a month; at ₹60 it worsens by ₹30,000. Figures are before income tax, depreciation and any loan interest.
We approve the location before anything is signed. A wrong site cannot be fixed later by better product or harder work — so we are strict here, in your interest as much as ours.
The full agreement follows once a site is approved. Nothing in it will surprise you after reading this page.
